Christian View of 2022 - #43

The mystery of January 2022 is now history.

Each month manifested the mercy of God.

I know some of the days were dreary and disappointing; and some of the nights were far too long.

I know the news was not always good; sometimes, what we saw and heard was enough to break the heart and cause us to ask life’s hardest question - why?

And what of the Ukraine with its genocide and Putin’s fingerprints on every drone, bomb and murderous weapon?

And yet, His mercy is unfailing, His grace unwavering and His peace, unending!

2022 sings a symphony to the sovereignty and reign of God

January joins the mighty chorus

February unfurls the flag

March brings the melody

April sings the anthem

May inspires the music

June justifies the refrain

July jumps to the rhythm

August augments the sound

September sings the song

October becomes the orchestra

November harmonizes the notes

December leads the dance

Yes, the calendar is the Creator’s Masterpiece reflecting His majesty and might.

Ah, the blessed baton is held in the nail-scarred hand of the risen Christ … all history is harmonizing to sing His praise, to herald His power and to highlight His purpose and plan.

So, as the passing year fades, we hear a resounding Hallelujah; and, in the early hours of a new year, we hear the unconquered soul sing … Because He lives I can face tomorrow…
